Jim and Jill Tomlinson didn’t set out to build a mold remediation company. They set out to get Jill well when her health began to decline. Navigating these challenges and her healing journey gave the Tomlinsons a firsthand education that no certification program could replicate. It also gave them something they bring to every client relationship: the genuine understanding of what it feels like to be on the other side of this.
Jim came to mold remediation with a professional background in real estate, construction, and development — which means he approaches every building the way a developer would, looking for where it fails, where moisture enters, and what the structure itself is telling him. Combined with Jill’s lived experience and the medical knowledge they’ve built through years of working alongside functional medicine physicians and mold-literate practitioners, Mold Services became something the industry didn’t have much of – a remediation company that truly understands both the building and the person living in it.
Jim and Jill have been married for 32 years. They have three children and eight grandchildren, and they bring that same sense of family to every home they work in.
